Cross Promotion
I was able to cross promote the screening of Swift Current on an Instagram page which I run, Calgary Arts. This page has over 33k followers, so I decided to use this account as a cross promotional tool to promote to a large population of Calgary. I shared one of our Swift Current screening posters to the page, as well as included a link to our Eventbrite page in the Instagram biography. It was well received by followers, and we had attendees who indicated they heard about the screening because of the Calgary Arts Instagram post.


Generating Followers
In order to increase the MRU Impact Instagram following, I utilized a software that engages like-minded individuals. The software works by finding users who use certain hashtags, search certain key works and who follow similar Instagram pages to our own. The software then goes out and engages these individuals by liking and commenting on their posts, and prompting them to follow our page. Over the course of the campaign MRU Impact gained over 50 followers.
