Locker Room Event
One experiential design our team developed and executed was the locker campaign. I had created this event to capture the notion that some athletes who experience sexual assault eventually quit the sport they participated in. Our team further brainstormed and developed this concept into the locker room campaign. The goalie helmet resembled protection, with its purpose being that it can not go past the ice. It is the responsibility of the community to protect one another from assault of any capacity. The locker campaign took place on November 21. We placed bracelets in the locker for the audience to take, along with an informational poster and an ambassador nearby. 54 out of 80 bracelets were taken.

Big Net Event
The Big Net event was very successful for various reasons. Not only did it allow for our team to speak with MRU students directly about exploitation and the Swift Current Screening, but it also sparked a conversation on how each and every one of us can make small changes to create a safer, more respectful community. I developed this event to expose MRU students with various situations and ways in which they would react. This challenged the students to think twice about their reactions when faced with difficult decisions. The Big Net was used to display the pledges participants had created, and how they will create a safer community. These pledges varied from not making sexist jokes, not laughing at other people's racists jokes, and also standing up, and voicing their opinions when situations feel wrong. This event occurred twice. The first time we held the Big Net Event on November 1, at the west gate entrance, and the second time we held it on November 29th and at the east gate entrance. Overall, we received 204 pledges.
